About the Founder

Good Signature was started almost 30 years ago when I left corporate America, bought an old building, put on a tool belt, and built my dream loft / office in Dallas’ West-End. My friends liked my creative design ideas so much that I was soon inundated with requests to custom-build ‘Good’ spaces for their offices. My brief diversion quickly turned in to a full time job.

The fundamentals of our business have remained the same. I love my job: the financial analysis and negotiation that goes along with buying a building, the design process that goes into creating a great space, the hands-on construction, and most importantly, the genuine friendships that come along with working with my clients.

Since 1993, Good Signature has redeveloped more than 40 buildings and over 1.5 million square feet in and around downtown Dallas and Denver into innovative, trendy, and unique residential and office spaces. The numerous and diverse tenants of Good Signature have included: lawyers, accountants, software companies, architects, photographers, graphic designers, clothing designers, advertising firms, film studios, retail uses, pension firms, insurance companies, call centers, data centers, and even a ballroom.

Around 2017-18, I began to expand into the Denver market. Since then I’ve obtained 10-11 buildings in the Greater Denver and more specifically the Denver Tech areas and currently have 7 properties to which we solely own and operate in-house.

In the Greater Denver area, we have a great variety of buildings and properties ranging from B- to B+ and up to A- class. We are also spread out across Denver, having properties in Greenwood Village, South Glenn, Aurora, Centennial, and out of town in Evergreen. In each of these areas we are helping small businesses grow and flourish. We confidently maintain a tenant retention of 85% or higher and are dedicated to keeping a positive presence in our properties and with our tenants.

As we continue to grow, we are looking to regrow our presence in the Dallas market and plan to continue acquiring quality assets and deliver a high quality product to our tenants. We continuously seek to improve upon ourselves to give our tenants the best experience possible throughout their stay with us and constantly looking for ways to better ourselves.
